Having personnel within your company that are familiar with all of the regulatory requirements that affect your business is a must! Knowing which 14 CFR regulations you must comply with and – just as important! – knowing the most effective way for your business to comply, is key to minimizing compliance costs while earning the trust of regulatory agencies in your compliance processes. Sometimes the need is just educating personnel so they know what they need to know, sometimes it’s training to provide the knowledge and tools to create the artifacts the FAA requires for compliance (e.g., a quality manual as required by 14 CFR Part 21). 

Providing education so that affected personnel or organizations have the appropriate level of understanding and appreciation for regulatory compliance is something I’ve done for many years. Whether it’s an executive overview for senior management, general education appropriate for all employees, or getting into the details with compliance personnel such as your quality or avionics certification organizations, I can present pertinent material tailored for your needs. 

Training and mentoring personnel to accomplish the regulatory compliance activities is something I’ve done for years as a function of leading quality and certification organizations. Whether it’s how to write effective compliance processes and manuals, generating compliance substantiation documents, or mentoring personnel in their leadership roles in regulatory and quality compliance, working with interested personnel is something I greatly enjoy!
